We'e just obtained stock of pure asafoetida powder! Very, very strong aroma and flavour, a pinch of this stuff goes a long, long way. Handle with care!

A substitute for onions and garlic but with a unique flavour of it's own. Used very sparingly in curries, pickles and chutneys. The dried resin is mixed with fenugreek powder for ease of use.
